Wooden Handicraft Business

Wooden Handicrfat Enterprise development in Makwanpur district- For the demonstrated enterprise development, Ashmita Nepal is running 6 months' wooden handicraft training in Makwanpur District.Toal 50 participants (42 female and  8 male) from 4 CFUGs have been selected on the basis of current interest and wellbeing ranking and recommendation from CF. The training is running in hall of Piple Pokhara CF in Hetauda from 1st September 2015. Local trainer Mr. Babulal Waiba and co-trainer Mrs. Bijaya Dulal are facilitating the program. 
The raw materials used for handicraft production will be softwoods, dead trees and fallen logs. All stationary, equipments, wood, machinory required for wooden handicraft training will be manged by Ashmita Nepal and CF. Since the use of dead and fallen logs will be major raw materials for handicrafts, this will reduce the use of new and healthytrees, which in turn would support SFM. After the training enterpreneurship will be developed and community enterprise will be established.
